Head Units Designed for Your Vehicle

Compatibility is the most important thing to check before choosing a new head unit. Your vehicle make, model, year, trim, dashboard style, wiring, steering wheel controls and factory features can all affect fitment.

DMS Engineering head units are designed as plug-and-play solutions, with the required components included for installation. Where relevant, fascia kits, wiring harnesses, CANBUS adapters or steering wheel control interfaces are included (where necessary) with your head unit purchase to help the unit fit correctly, connect properly and retain key factory functions where possible.

If you are unsure which head unit suits your vehicle, our 24/7 support team can help confirm compatibility before you buy.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Head Units

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it easier to use the phone features you rely on while driving. Using your phone while driving is illegal in Australia, so instead of handling your phone, you can access key apps through your head unit’s touchscreen display.

Our head units let you use all-you-can-use maps and navigation, make calls, send and receive messages, listen to Spotify, Apple Music, and other compatible apps, and use voice control for safer access while driving.

Wireless or wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto options may be available depending on the head unit you choose. You can also browse compatible head unit add-ons to support your setup.

What to Check Before Buying a Car Head Unit

Before choosing a stereo head unit, check your vehicle make, model, year, and series; your preferred screen size and dashboard fitment; wired or wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; reverse camera compatibility; steering wheel control retention; factory amplifier or speaker setup; and installation requirements.

We provide all relevant kits or wiring harnesses for compatible DMS Engineering head units, helping make installation simpler and reducing the need for additional modifications.
